Everyone uses AI now.
Almost nobody gets results.
Five levels separate "I use AI sometimes" from "AI is on a P&L line." This scorecard places you on the ladder in 60 seconds and hands you your single next climb-move.
The Dabbler · Level 1
AI is a browser tab you visit when you remember. There are no saved prompts and no repeat use. This is where the whole market sits, so you are not behind. You are simply standing at the bottom of the climb.
The Habit · Level 2
You reach for AI by reflex, but it all lives in your head and one tab, and only you do it. This is the real trap. You are better at the tool than your business is, and the skill walks out the door when you do.
The System · Level 3
Your context lives outside your head, the team shares it, and output is consistent because input is consistent. You've crossed the hardest gap. Now the work still needs someone to push the button.
The Loop · Level 4
A task starts itself, the AI does the work off your brain, and a draft lands ready for you to approve. AI is paying you now, not just impressing you. The next jump is doing this across several loops and watching them.
The Engine · Level 5
Measurable loops run in the background across the business and you manage AI by the dashboard, not the task. You can name the euros and hours it returns. AI is on a P&L line. Almost no business reaches this rung. You did.
